The primary objective of the SLP Expert, INTL is to provide physical security services, plan and execute loss prevention initiatives, and ensure asset protection in the designated area of responsibility. The SLP Manager would assist in mitigating product loss and maintaining customer satisfaction in accordance with Global Security guidelines and policies.
The role is cross-functional and requires effective collaboration with stakeholders from business and corporate functions.
Day-to-day activities of the SLP Expert, INTL involve planning, organizing, coordinating, implementing, and executing processes and procedures laid down by the organization and respective functions. Responsibilities include:
- Identifying areas of shrink at the FC, Sort center, and Delivery station levels, including delivery partners.
- Identifying potential theft areas and working closely with stakeholders to mitigate causes of theft.
- Optimally utilizing resources to ensure high-quality and timely support to business teams.
- Conducting risk assessments for sites and working in accordance with security policies and guidelines.
- Handling emergency/crisis situations independently with sound decision-making skills.
- Security operations, including guard force management, training, and security plan implementation.
- Performing audits and maintaining documentation as per policies.
- Implementing process improvements and loss prevention programs.
- Ensuring the functionality of security systems and conducting regular reviews.
- Conducting investigations and supporting loss prevention efforts.
- Maintaining updated records of assets and security gadgets.
- University degree or equivalent with professional certification.
- 8-10 years of experience in security and loss prevention, law enforcement, or related fields.
- Knowledge of security equipment, technology, and investigation management.
- Experience with security audits and information security systems.
- Graduate or postgraduate qualification.
- Certifications such as CPP, PSP, PCI.
- Background in military, law enforcement, criminology, or forensics.
- Experience in emergency response, crisis management, and security investigations.
