• Cpl Recruitment are partnering with a global organisation to appoint a Sitecore Technical Lead & Platform Architect to play a key role in shaping the future of its enterprise digital platforms.
• This position offers the opportunity to influence technical strategy, lead the delivery of modern customer-facing solutions, and provide technical leadership across a complex digital ecosystem.
• Working closely with engineering, product and architecture teams, you'll help drive innovation, platform stability and engineering best practice while leading a high-performing development team.
• The role offers a salary of up to €93,100, a target bonus of approximately 10%, and an excellent benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across the design, delivery and ongoing enhancement of enterprise digital platforms.
• Develop scalable architecture solutions using modern Sitecore and cloud technologies.
• Take ownership of the platform roadmap, ensuring the environment remains secure, current and fit for future growth.
• Work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Promote engineering excellence through architecture reviews, development standards and technical governance.
• Lead technical decision-making around integrations, APIs and digital platform capabilities.
• Manage and mentor engineering teams, supporting technical development and successful project delivery.
• Drive improvements in platform performance, resilience, security and operational support.
• Support DevOps and CI/CD practices to enable efficient software delivery.
• Encourage continuous improvement through innovation, automation and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading enterprise Sitecore development initiatives within large-scale environments.
• Strong background in .NET development and modern Sitecore platforms, including headless implementations.
• Experience designing cloud-based solutions using Azure or AWS.
• Previous technical leadership experience, including mentoring development teams.
• Strong understanding of API-led architecture, integrations and enterprise application design.
• Experience working within Agile software delivery environments.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
• Strong focus on software quality, security, scalability and performance.
• Experience with composable architecture, Sitecore XM Cloud or similar modern digital experience platforms would be advantageous.
• Sitecore certifications or exposure to enterprise eCommerce environments are desirable.
