Location: West London area.
Contract Type: Contract to permanent
Working Hours: 45 hours per week (Monday-Friday) with potential weekend or on-call duties.
My client, a leading main contractor, is looking for Site Supervisors to oversee metering operatives on a water project in the London areas. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader with a plumbing background to step into a key management role within the water sector. Some training will be provided, but candidates must have relevant qualifications, team management experience, and mentoring skills.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage metering operatives to ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Oversee health & safety compliance and ensure all work follows industry regulations.
- Complete permit sign-offs and conduct van audits as required.
- Verify training certifications and ensure all plant and equipment are safe to use.
- Carry out site audits and PPE checks to maintain compliance.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to operatives, ensuring high performance and development.
- Plan and organise daily workloads, ensuring efficient scheduling and resource management.
- Address customer issues professionally, following company guidelines.
- Plumbing background, with relevant qualifications.
- Previous team management and mentoring experience within the water or utilities sector (ideally clean water).
- Water Hygiene certification (desirable).
- Full UK driving licence.
