Are you an experienced Site Quality Assurance Manager with a strongtrack recordin delivering quality assurance and control on major infrastructure projects? You will lead quality management activities acrossnationally significant D&B infrastructure projects in Ireland including metro, aviation, rail,waterand highway schemes, ensuring works are deliveredin accordance withspecifications,standardsand project requirements.

Your new role
As Site Quality Assurance Manager, you willbe responsible foroverseeing all quality assurance and quality control activities on major infrastructure projects in Ireland. You will ensure that construction works are delivered in compliance with design, specifications, and regulatory requirements, while promoting a culture of quality across all site activities.
You will work closely with contractors,engineersand project teams to implement robust QA/QC processes, ensuring that quality risks areidentified,managedand mitigated throughout the construction lifecycle.
Working pattern
This is apredominantly site-basedrole, witha majority ofprojects delivered in and around Dublin.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Leading the development and implementation of project quality assurance and quality control systems on site
Ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards,proceduresand regulatory requirements
Monitoring contractor quality performance through inspections,auditsand surveillance activities
Reviewing and approving Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), methodstatementsand quality documentation
Managing non-conformances,defectsand corrective actions to ensure effective resolution
Supporting inspection,testingand commissioning activities to verify compliance with requirements
Coordinating quality records,documentationand handover deliverables
Providing quality assurance advice and guidance to project teams and contractors
Identifyingquality risks and supporting mitigation strategies throughout delivery
Promoting a culture of quality, right-first-timedeliveryand continuous improvement
Supporting reporting and governance processes related to quality performance
Liaising with stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality expectations and requirements
About you
Significant experiencein quality assurance and quality control roles on major infrastructure or construction projects (e.g. metro, aviation, rail,waterand highways schemes)
Strong understanding of QA/QC processes,standardsand best practice in construction environments
Experience working with contractors tomonitorand improve quality performance on site
Familiarity with inspection, testing,commissioningand handover processes
Ability to review technical documentation,drawingsand specifications in detail
Experience managing non-conformances,defectsand corrective actions
Strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving approach
Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience implementing quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001)
Knowledge and experience of NEC4 Contract suite, and commercial awareness
Proactive and organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic site environment
Degree in engineering,constructionor a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. CQI, Engineers Ireland, ICE, or equivalent)or working towards accreditation
