Job Title: Site Operative / Labourer

Location: Barry Docks

Contract: Temporary, with view for it to become permanent

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: 40 hours per week, 7 am start, Monday to Friday, overtime available

Pay Rate: £13.71 per hour

The Role
We are seeking a reliable Site Operative / Labourer to support ongoing operations at Barry Docks. This is a hands?on role that requires someone who is physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. You'll be part of a busy industrial site, supporting day?to?day operations and maintaining a safe, organised working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• General site labouring including manual handling, moving materials, and maintaining work areas
• Assisting trades and site teams as required
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Following health & safety procedures at all times
• Supporting daily site operations to ensure smooth workflow
• Any additional duties as directed by the site supervisor

Requirements

• Physically fit due to the manual and active nature of the role
• Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions
• Previous experience in a labouring or site?operative role is beneficial
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work safely in a busy industrial environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
