Freelance Site Manager - Fit Out & Refurbishment

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee the fit out and refurbishment of a PureGym in Coventry.

This is a live environment, so the successful candidate will need to be confident managing site operations while maintaining a professional approach around gym users, staff and members of the public.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day delivery of the fit out and refurbishment works.
• Coordinating subcontractors, site teams and deliveries.
• Ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to a high standard.
• Maintaining excellent communication with the client, subcontractors and gym staff.
• Managing works within a live environment while minimising disruption to gym users.
• Ensuring all Health & Safety and site procedures are followed.
• Carrying out regular site inspections and quality checks.
• Attending progress meetings and providing regular updates to the project team.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within fit out, refurbishment or similar projects.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and site management procedures.
• Experience working within live environments would be highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication and people-management skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors effectively.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the project.
