Freelance Site Manager - Bristol

18-Week Contract 14th August start date

An established construction contractor is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a refurbishment project within a live hospital environment in the Bristol area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised Site Manager who has previous experience delivering refurbishment projects in occupied healthcare settings and understands the importance of minimising disruption while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the day-to-day running of a live refurbishment project.
• Coordinating works with hospital staff and key stakeholders.
• Planning and managing site logistics to ensure minimal disruption to hospital operations.
• Overseeing subcontractors and ensuring work is completed safely, on programme, and to a high standard.
• Maintaining excellent health & safety practices within a live operational environment.
• Providing regular progress updates and resolving any site issues efficiently.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment projects.
• Previous experience working withinlive hospital or healthcare environments is essential.
• Strong logistics planning and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with hospital staff, clients, and subcontractors.
• SMSTS, CSCS Card and First Aid at Work certificates.
• Available to start within the coming weeks.
