Site Manager - Leading Civils and Marine Contractor - Surrey or Sussex

My client is a Leading Civil Engineering and Marine Construction Company.

They are presently looking to recruit, on a permanent basis, a Site Manager to work on projects in and around London and the southeastern region.

The company specialise in the following sectors;

• Highways & Structures
• Ports, Rivers & Marne
• Piling
• Dredging
• Earthworks
• And much more

The successful candidate will have experience of delivering civil engineering projects.

This is a hybrid position offering a good deal of flexibility between projects, offices and home working.

Site Manager duties include assisting the Project Manager with the successful and timely delivery projects:

• Advising the engineering team with solutions to technical challenges
• Assist in production and integration of 3-week programmes
• Manage designs from the inhouse and external designers
• Support the project team with construction methodology and sequencing
• Collaborate with the project team on resource, plant and material requirements
• Training and mentoring the junior members of the engineering team
• Demonstrate value engineering throughout the construction process
• Managing RFI's and Technical Queries
