With a strong reputation for excellence, safety, and innovation, they are now seeking a dedicated Freelance Site Manager to lead a critical Fire Alarm Upgrade Scheme at one of their key sites.
Your new role
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the fire alarm upgrade works, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards. You'll coordinate with subcontractors, liaise with clients, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all site operations related to the fire alarm upgrade.Manage subcontractors and ensure work is completed to specification.Maintain health and safety standards in line with CDM regulations.Monitor progress and report to the Project Manager.Coordinate with stakeholders to minimise disruption to site operations.Ensure quality control and compliance with fire safety standards.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience as a Site Manager on M&E or fire safety projects.SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications (essential).Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems and upgrade processes.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
