Site Manager

Job Title: Site Manager at Bletchley Park Trust

The Bletchley Park Trust, a registered charity and renowned museum, is seeking a Site Manager to oversee external repairs, asbestos removal, roof access, and boiler replacements in historic buildings. This role aims to support the successful delivery of a government-funded project.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage contractors onsite, ensuring project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
2. Minimize visitor impact and safeguard historic structures.
3. Maintain daily communication with contractors and internal stakeholders.
4. Work under pressure, respond to issues, and find suitable solutions.
5. Report on project progress and use MS Word, Excel, and Teams proficiently.

Candidate Requirements:

• Demonstrable Site Manager experience with a SMSTS qualification.
• Ability to understand the mechanics of heating solutions.
• Experience working in listed buildings is essential.

Contract Details:

• Fixed-term contract for 6 months, starting immediately.
• Based onsite at Bletchley Park, Milton Keynes.
• Working hours: 37.5 hours/week, 8:00 am start; part-time options available.

Salary and Benefits:

• Approximate salary: £50,000 pro-rata per annum.
• Company pension, BUPA wellbeing plan, 33 days holiday (pro-rata).
