Contract: 2.5 Months Rate: €55/-60hour (all-inclusive) Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Commissioning Engineer to support the assembly, installation and commissioning of a CHP plant upgrade. The existing 2MW facility, comprising four 500kW CHP units, is being replaced with a new 2.5MW system.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical and electrical assembly of CHP equipment and associated plant.
• Testing, commissioning and start-up activities.
• Commissioning of CHP engines, exhaust systems and steam boiler interfaces.
• Fault finding and resolution during installation and commissioning.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with project requirements.
• Supporting delivery through to handover.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical and electrical engineering background.
• Previous commissioning experience within industrial, process, power generation or energy environments.
• Experience working with steam boilers and associated systems.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and technical documentation.Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Desirable

• CHP experience.
• Gas engine commissioning experience.
• Knowledge of heat recovery and steam generation systems.
