Site Manager - 6 month contract

Dublin City Centre - New Hotel Development, Capel Street

Duration: 6 Months (with potential extension)
Rate: DOE (Depending on Experience)

The Opportunity

We are working with a specialist steel contractor on a new hotel development in Capel Street and are seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in structural steel / steel frame erection.

This is a key role on a high-profile city centre project, where you'll take full ownership of steel erection activities and play a crucial part in delivering the programme safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site steel erection works
• Oversee crane operations, lifting plans, and execution
• Lead erection sequencing and coordination
• Manage steel crews, subcontractors, and site logistics
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety, RAMS, and method statements
• Liaise closely with client, project management, and engineering teams
• Drive progress and ensure delivery in line with programme targets

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on structural steel / steel frame projects
• Strong knowledge of lifting operations and erection sequencing
• Experience managing busy, constrained city centre sites
