Job Description

Do you have the vision and credibility to lead organisational change?

Here at GXO, we're looking for a HR Manager to join our NHS Supply Chain contract in Daventry. You'll be responsible for ensuring all core people processes are designed and applied in a way which underpins GXO's principles and business values.

This is a full-time permanent position. You'll be working Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:00. However, some flexibility is required, this is logistics after all!

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £50,000 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). A company sponsored pension scheme, life assurance and death in service.

What you'll do on a typical day:
  • To align people related policies and processes to ensure legal compliance
  • Implement an approved People Plan that underpins the changes required to Culture and Performance.
  • To manage and motivate the HR team to deliver against team and individual objectives
  • To support the establishment of the required Leadership standards and capability at all levels of the business via leadership development; management training; succession planning etc
  • Proactive support and advice across the full spectrum of employee relations and employment law, including grievance, discipline, dismissal, TUPE and redundancy
What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards) with strong HR knowledge and up-to-date employment law expertise
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail with the ability to influence others
  • Excellent knowledge of HR Policies, Employee Relations, Change Management and HR databases
