Job Description

At Turmec, we are currently growing our team and are looking for dedicated, skilled mechanical sitesupervisors to join our expanding site installation team to assist in delivering small and large-scale projects inIreland, the UK and the wider international market. Successful applicants will enjoy being part of a closely-knit manufacturing team, who pride themselves ondelivering the highest quality products to our worldwide customers.

The Mechanical Site Supervisors duties will include:
  • Supervising and coordinating on site activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and specifications
  • Overseeing the day to day operation activities on the site
  • Interface on site with OEM Suppliers
  • Responsible for maintaining site documentation
  • Interface on site with all subcontractors relating to each Project
  • Ensure each project follows strict health and safety guidelines including H+S document control and comply with all regulations
  • Manage weekly time sheets of all site men and maintain close correspondence with payroll dept
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to deliver installations on time and within budget
  • Responsible for the management of plant and equipment on site
  • Attending company & client meetings, sharing regular progress reports with the client and Internal management
Qualifications:
  • Be Safety Focused
  • The ideal candidate must be self efficient, be able to work on their own initiative, but also be a team player.
  • Proven supervision experience in a similar field.
  • Metal Fabrication Experience desirable
  • Compliance with company / site rules & procedures.
  • SSSTS/SMSTS, IOSH training advantage but will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A good understanding of spoken and written English is essential
  • Keen eye and passion for detail and quality
  • Full driver's licence
  • Experience in the use of safety software and Navisworks/Trimble software an advantage but not essential.
  • Travel required.
