Site engineer/ Section Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Section Engineer to join our team on a key infrastructure project in Plymouth. This is a 4-month contract, ideal for someone with a strong background in civil engineering and site supervision, looking to make an immediate impact on a high-profile scheme.

• Manage day-to-day site engineering activities and ensure project milestones are met.
• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate site works in line with project schedules.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
• Assist with quality assurance, documentation, and progress reporting.
• Support the Site Agent and Project Manager in delivering works on time and to specification.

Requirements:

• Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience in a similar Section Engineer role on civil or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of site operations, technical drawings, and method statements.
• CSCS card (essential), SMSTS/SSSTS (desirable), First Aid (preferred).
