Site Engineer

Site Engineer is required to join a top Build Contractor in Waterford. This client has a large pipeline of work and a proven track record across diverse sectors including Education, Healthcare, Heritage & Conservation, Commercial, Industrial, Retail, Fitout, Leisure & Sport and Pharma. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual looking to develop their career within the construction industry in an exciting, growing firm.

Role

• Setting out
• Overseeing building work
• Site surveying
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
• Assisting the procurement department
• Assisting the commercial department.
• Completing SHEQ forms
• Tracking site records
• Completing labour and plant returns
• General site civil engineering daily tasks

Requirements

• Must hold a degree in Civil Engineering or similar
• Must have a minimum 2 years recent experience on Civil Engineering projects in Ireland or the UK
• Must have knowledge setting out equipment including GPS, site engineer level, total station
• Excellent MS Office skills
