Site Agent

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Agent to lead the delivery of a key Car Park Scheme in Bridgwater, Somerset. This is a contract position offering a competitive day rate of £450-£475 (CIS an option).

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
• Manage subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation and company procedures
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders
• Monitor progress against programme and report accordingly
• Maintain high standards of quality assurance and documentation

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Civil Engineering qualification (or related discipline)
• Valid CSCS card
• SMSTS certification

Desirable Experience

• Demonstrable experience in successfully managing highway and infrastructure schemes
• Proven track record of managing health & safety in a construction environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to deliver projects in a fast-paced, regulated environment
