Site Agent - Utilities & Streetworks Specialist (NI/ROI)

As Site Agent you will be based out of our client's Head Office in Lisburn and have operational and management input on sewer investigation / repair projects throughout NI / ROI. This role is ideally suited to a Site Agent who is looking to provide technical support to the site team and oversee specialised engineering services in a streetworks environment.

Our client is a specialist Tier 1 Contractor who specialises in no dig engineering services, pipeline investigation and repair in the utility sector. Due to major contract awards in NI / ROI they are looking to appoint a Site Agent who will work in conjunction with the Civil Contracting partner and stakeholders to ensure a safe and clean working environment is maintained. Due to the nature of the role some travel within NI / ROI will be required.

• Daily programming of activities and monitoring and ordering of materials in a timely fashion.
• Assisting the Operations Manager with site records, RAMS and permits as appropriate.
• Attending meetings with the Client and contracting partners, having an input on the forward planning and delivery programme of works and providing a customer/client focused approach.
• Commercial management to include work in progress / tracking costs, weekly returns and assisting with monthly valuations and cost control measures etc.

• Experience in working on similar Civil Engineering projects, Utility projects will be preferred but not essential.
• Third level degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Streetworks, Health, Safety and Environmental training will be provided.
• Strong client facing skills.
• Computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Outlook.
