Evening Site Support Officer (Temporary)

£15 an hour

4:00pm - 10:00pm, Monday to Friday

Temporary Position (4-6 weeks)

A well-established educational setting is seeking a reliable and proactive Evening Site Support Officer to provide temporary cover during evening hours.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous site, caretaking, facilities, maintenance, or premises experience who enjoys a hands-on role and takes pride in maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Opening and securing buildings and site facilities
• Carrying out regular site checks and ensuring health and safety standards are maintained
• Responding to minor maintenance issues and reporting any concerns
• Assisting with room setups and general site duties as required
• Acting as a key point of contact on site during evening hours
• Ensuring the premises remain safe, clean, and secure

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in site, caretaker, facilities, maintenance, estates, or premises management roles
• Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently
• Good practical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Understanding of health and safety responsibilities
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable, although support can be provided in obtaining one
