We are currently recruiting for a Full-time GSO Shunter/Cleaner/Fueller at Speke Bus Depot for Arriva, and we are looking to hear from candidates who are positive, have a can-do attitude and have ambition to grow.

Responsibilities

• Process the vehicles on their return to the depot.
• Move and manoeuvre vehicles/buses within the depot, following instructions from the allocator and parking according to the parking plan.
• Maintain overall cleanliness, including bus and facility cleaning, waste removal.
• Perform fuelling tasks.
• Conduct visual checks for any damage, report issues, and ensure all windows are closed before buses enter the wash.
• Follow strict Health & Safety procedures and instructions.
• Undertake additional site duties in line with General Service Operative (GSO) requirements.
• Deliver timely, efficient, and courteous service on customer sites.
• Willingness and ability to work unsocial hours in line with the late shift.

Essential requirements

• Full UK driving licence (B category), held for a minimum of 2 years.
