Location: Lymington, Hampshire

Salary: (£13.45 per hour)

Hours: As required (mainly on Sundays)

Contract: Casual

Are you looking for a role that fits around your week whilst supporting the vital work of the British Red Cross?

We're looking for a customer-focused Shop Assistant to join our team, primarily working on Sundays, with occasional weekday shifts to cover absences. If you enjoy meeting people, providing excellent customer service, and being part of a busy shop environment, we'd love to hear from you.

What will a day in the life of a Shop Assistantinvolve?
  • Delivering great customer service and creating a welcoming shopping experience.
  • Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of a busy charity shop.
  • Maintaining an attractive shop floor, operating the till and creating eye-catching displays.
  • Sorting and preparing stock to ensure quality items are ready for sale.
To be a successful Shop Assistant, what will you need?
  • Retail experience with confidence handling cash and transactions.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Commercial awareness with an understanding of targets and sales performance.
  • Customer-focused approach, anticipating needs and creating positive shopping experiences.
