# Shift Lead (Longlands) Adult Social Care About the roleLonglands Care home is situated in Daventry, we offer a happy and safe living environment in which our residents can enjoy an enhanced quality of life.Our Team of friendly and committed staff provide the highest level of care and specialise in supporting people living with Dementia.With our great accommodation and facilities and a programme of activities, our care home aims to provide a home from home atmosphere in which our residents can feel comfortable, content and very well cared for. Act as a key worker for designated resident. Ensuring they are supported in all aspects of their life. Monitoring and administering medication, personal care and as directed by their individual care plan, help maintain health and wellbeing. Prioritise and direct the workload of team members accordingly, ensuring any issues are dealt with as they arise. Ensure all administration tasks are carried out with accuracy. Inputting additional information onto care plans, as required. Liaising with health care professionals. About you Enthusiastic, patient, flexible and committed to making a difference in our people's lives. You may be a senior carer looking for the next move or a current Shift lead wishing to gain more experience to develop yourself in the future.With your previous experience in care leadership, and NVQ Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care (ideal), you'll join our team in making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.We will offer 2.5 weeks induction training and a further 2-4 weeks "Buddy scheme" too. We will settle you in, there's no pressure to "hit the ground running"! This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore subject to an enhanced DBS certificate, at our cost .
