Shift Electrical Maintenance Engineer - London - £56,000

Fancy working in one of the City's most prestigious skyscrapers? This isn't your average maintenance contract - it's a landmark commercial tower in the heart of the City of London, and CBW Staffing Solutions is looking for a Shift Engineer to join the on-site team.

CBW is recruiting on behalf of an established building services provider for a role based within a prestigious, high-profile commercial tower in the City of London. You'll be joining a skilled maintenance team delivering planned and reactive maintenance across an impressive blue-chip site, working with cutting-edge building systems in a landmark environment.

The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of facilities maintenance and a proven track record in electrical or mechanical building services. In return, you'll receive a salary of up to £56,000, plentiful overtime, ongoing training, and genuine scope for career progression within a company that invests in its people.

Hours of Work
  • Continental shift pattern - days and nights, a mix of 4s and 6s
  • 7am-7pm / 7pm-7am
  • Excellent overtime availability
Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lighting - small installation, fault-finding, lamping
  • Emergency lighting testing
  • Control panels
  • Ballast replacement
  • BMS monitoring (hot & cold systems)
  • Maintaining and updating log books
  • Basic plumbing (unblocking toilets)
  • UPS / Generators
  • Pumps and motors
Requirements
  • Electrically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2 & 3
  • 17th/18th Edition
  • Ability to provide copies of trade certificates
  • Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled with strong fault-finding ability
  • Good communication skills and a client-facing manner
