Job Description

Contract Type: Permanent,Full Time -36 Hours

Salary: £24,545per annum to £ 27,000 per annum(Regional salary)depending on experience

Grade: 3 (Regional salary)

Working Location:Stretford, Manchester- with flexibility for other local schemes

WorkingHours: Monday to Friday. AM at 1 scheme PM at the other.

Scheme locations are in South Trafford -Travel required between schemes.

Persona:Site Based Worker: Site based and may attend the Manchester office on an ad-hoc basis

An exciting opportunity has become available for the right candidate to join us as a Scheme Manager within our Housing Management Team. Independent Living is an integral part of what L&Q Living do, delivering services primarily for our customers aged 55 and over.

We are seeking someone who brings a creative and innovative approach to supporting older people to live independently in their own homesandwhohasa genuine passion for enhancing their health and well being.

Your impact in the role:

In this role, you will contribute to delivering a high quality, supportive, and compliant housing service by:

  • Providing frontline housing management services to ensure the schemeisfully compliant.
  • Proactively engaging with residents, visitors, and contractors tomaintainpositive communication channels, enhance resident wellbeing,identifysupport needs, and work with partner agencies to achieveappropriate outcomes.
  • Encouraging and supportingresidents to make the scheme in which they live a supportive environment for themselves, friends, and other groups in the areas, while embracing technology assisted processes to enhance the Independent Living offer.

What you'll bring:

  • Relevant practical experience in housing management or other customer focused role, with knowledge of service delivery, health and safety and the benefits of assisted technology
  • Excellent customer service skillswith the ability toidentifythe needs of others and provide support and guidance
  • Strong communicationand relationship building skills
  • Ability toidentifyproblems and proactively find solutions
  • Sound working knowledge of Microsoft applications, with the ability to collate, analyse and present data
  • Driving Licence: For this position, we require the candidate to be mobile - A driving license is required.
