Day rate: £450 per day
Location: Milton Keynes (Onsite)

Description
We're hiring for a contract SharePoint Developer to work with one of the UK s most well-respected, high-performance engineering organisations. This is a hands-on development role focused on building and customising SharePoint On-Premises environments that drive business collaboration and operational efficiency.
you'll join a small, agile technical team responsible for supporting and evolving internal platforms used across engineering, operations, and commercial departments. you'll be building custom web parts, workflows, and integrations using JavaScript, C#, and SharePoint Server Side components.
If you re experienced in both Front End and Server Side SharePoint development and enjoy working in an outcome-driven environment, this role will offer strong technical challenges and rewarding project visibility.

What you'll be doing:

• Designing and developing bespoke SharePoint On-Prem components.
• Front End customisation using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and JS Link.
• Server Side development using C# and SharePoint Object Model.
• Supporting SharePoint administration and performance via PowerShell.
• Troubleshooting and resolving SharePoint issues across teams.
• Collaborating with business stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Supporting SharePoint upgrades and potential migrations.

Skills & experience we re looking for:

• 3+ years of SharePoint On-Prem development experience.
• Strong JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and JS Link capability.
• Proficiency in C# and SharePoint Add-In development.
• Understanding of site architecture, permissions, workflows, and web parts.
• PowerShell Scripting experience (desirable).
• Familiarity with SharePoint Online, SPFx, or Power Platform (bonus).

Workstyle & setup:

• Hybrid - 1-2 days per week onsite in Milton Keynes.
• 6-month initial contract, with likely extensions.
• Outside IR35.
