With significant capabilities, the company, with nearly 200 employees, markets its products in over 80 countries through a network and is currently looking for a Setter (M/F/D) for our Jewelry/Watchmaking sector at 100%. Your mission: The setter executes adjustment work on specific machines to ensure product quality. He or she is responsible for correcting and controlling processes. He or she guarantees quality, adherence to deadlines, and productivity. He or she may be required to work in several areas.Production:- Perform the adjustment of one or more machines- Monitor production (launch, follow-up, first-level maintenance)- Intervene in the case of a simple breakdown- Contact the maintenance service in case of a breakdown- Complete production tracking documents in the system and collaborate closely with it- Maintain order and cleanliness at the workstation- Load and unload machines- Propose solutions for performance regarding Quality, Costs, and Deadlines.Quality & Control:- Correct any deviations from the process- Control the parts according to instructions and/or documents- Clean and maintain the machines- Ensure the proper functioning of the tooling from start to finish of a series.Hygiene & Safety:- Respect, know, and apply hygiene and safety rules- Apply the continuous improvement charter (AIC, working group)- Collaborate with all employees and report to his/her hierarchical superior- Support his/her superior and the company in internal matters.Professional & Personal Skills:- Rigorous & methodical- Ability to meet production objectives- Manual dexterity- Ability to control execution- Flexibility and versatility- Good base and continuous improvement knowledge.Requirements:- CFC in a mechanical profession or equivalent- Experience in machine adjustments desired- Mastery of conventional control devices- Reading technical drawings- Basic knowledge (data entry).Work location: VallorbeStart of activity: immediatelyType of contract: fixed-term (duration to be defined)Hours: daytimeIf you meet these criteria and the challenges associated with the position interest you, we invite you to apply by sending your complete application (CV, cover letter, diplomas ) to: Write an email or directly via the website.
