As part of our Application Modernization efforts, we focus on simplifying core operations, consolidating applications, replacing legacy systems, and implementing best-in-class technologies that drive digital transformation.We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Platform Owner / Architect to play a critical role in supporting Grant Thornton's existing ServiceNow platform with strategic oversight, leadership, and technical ownership. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity, scalability, and consistency of our ITSM processes as we grow through mergers and acquisitions. Roles and Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership and technical ownership of the ServiceNow platform. Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to determine how the ServiceNow platform can be leveraged to help reach organizational goals. Oversee platform governance, including change management, release management, and compliance. Define and maintain the ServiceNow roadmap aligned with enterprise IT strategy. Monitor ServiceNow releases and innovations, and assess their applicability to the firm's environment." with following 1. Stay up to date with ServiceNow latest releases and features, recommending adoption where applicable. 2. Drive innovation by exploring new ServiceNow modules and solutions to enhance business outcomes. Add these if possible. 3. Implement and enforce CMDB data standards and governance processes. 4. Manage Application CIs in alignment with CSDM guidelines. 5. Provide expert guidance and best practices for leveraging ServiceNow App Engine Studio (AES), Flow Designer, Process Automation Designer, UI Builder, and other App Engine components. Ensure platform performance, security, and data integrity across all modules. Lead and mentor a team of ServiceNow developers and administrators. Manage integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise platforms (e.g., LeanIX, OneTrust, Saviynt, Snowflake). Monitor ServiceNow releases and innovations, and assess their applicability to the firm's environment. Support M&A integration efforts by onboarding new entities into the ServiceNow ecosystem. Support and guide the development and maintenance of platform documentation, standards, and best practices. Skills and Attributes: Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience. 10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years focused on ServiceNow platform ownership and architecture. Proficiency in MID Server configuration, ServiceNow Discovery, Cloud Discovery and Service Mapping. Establish guardrails for platform performance, scalability, and maintainability. Experience in platform upgrade planning and execution. Cloud infrastructure basic knowledge (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Proven experience leading ServiceNow implementations and/or managing enterprise-scale platforms. Deep knowledge of ServiceNow modules, architecture, and data model. Experience with scripting (JavaScript, Glide), Flow Designer, and Integration Hub. Familiarity with ServiceNow APIs (REST/SOAP) and integration patterns. Strong understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise service management. Experience with M&A integration projects and onboarding new business units. Excellent communication, leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to deliver complex, time-sensitive projects in a hybrid work environment.
