Job Description

Vehicle Technician / Mechanic role for a Level 3 qualified Technician, or a Level 2 Technician / Mechanic with at least 3 years' experience, working with one of the UK's leading automotive groups on a wide range of vehicles. Excellent salary, benefits, overtime, and bonus opportunities available.

Salary: £42,845 basic per annum plus bonus and overtime, OTE £50,000 per annum

  • NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent IMI / City & Guilds qualification).
  • Hands on workshop experience as a mechanic or technician, ideally within a franchised dealership environment.
Vehicle Technician Job role:
  • Carry out comprehensive vehicle servicing, including oil changes, filter replacements, and component updates, in line with manufacturer standards.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical faults across braking, steering, suspension, and basic engine systems.
  • Complete thorough Electronic Vehicle Health Checks (eVHCs) to identify and record any work required.
  • Record accurate technical findings and parts requirements clearly on digital job cards.
  • Complete standard warranty repairs in line with factory protocols and agreed timeframes.
  • Maintain high levels of workshop productivity to meet individual efficiency and first-time fix targets.
