Service Specialist Ireland The role

We're looking for a commercially driven Services Specialist to proactively grow our services business using a consultative sales approach. You'll work closely with customers and internal teams to identify opportunities, diagnose needs, and convert these into service plans, audits, and long-term sales growth. This is a highly visible role with a direct impact on regional and national services performance.

Key responsibilities
  • Proactively grow services sales within defined regional and area boundaries (Leinster)
  • Sell service plans, steam system audits, and the wider services portfolio, including digital services and surveys
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Develop new opportunities from initial diagnosis through to order placement
  • Accurately forecast weekly and monthly services sales performance
  • Maintain and manage the services opportunity pipeline and target site database
  • Collaborate closely with sales engineers, service teams, and project sales colleagues
  • Analyse customer and market trends to inform sales activity and priorities
  • Act with high commercial integrity and live the company's core values at all times
Your experience
  • Proven front-line industrial or B2B sales experience
  • Experience developing new business using a consultative selling approach
  • A track record of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience building long-term customer relationships and working cross-functionally
Your skills
  • Strong commercial awareness with a customer-focused mindset
  • Confident, organised, and proactive, with a driven and entrepreneurial approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning, forecasting, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
  • Educated to HNC level or equivalent experience in a technical, engineering, or business discipline
