Job Description

Our client is a reputable clean air company providing a variety of validation and LEV services to clients throughout the UK. They are currently recruiting for a Service Engineer based in and around the Manchester area. The ideal candidate will have experience undertaking verification of critical ventilation systems in accordance with HTM . Previous experience carrying out test on LEV systems and fume cupboards will also be advantageous to the role. Ideally applications will be based in locations with good access to the North West, such as Bolton, Lancaster, Rochdale. However, consideration will be given to strong candidates based in the West Yorkshire, Midlands or South of England regions.

Experience Required

• Will hold experience working as a validation engineer within the critical ventilation/healthcare sector.
• Experience of testing LEV's, fume cupboards, laminar flow cabinets is desirable but not essential.
• Will ideally hold the P601.
• Proven track record of validating and verifying ventilation systems in accordance with HTM regulations.
• Confident in building and maintaining client relationships.
• Holds strong communication skill.

Key Responsibilities

• Servicing of AHUs, fume cupboards, clean room suites, safety cabinets, humidifiers and multi movement pendants.
• Liaise with design engineers.
• DOP testing/In Situ HEPA filter testing.
• Entrainment testing.
• Sell additional services to customers.
• Report writing and consulting with clients on findings and recommendations.
• Providing support and training to site engineers.
