Job Description

Job Title: Service & Solutions Architect

Location: Midlands

Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Salary: £65,000

Job Summary: As a Service and Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering innovative network solutions tailored to our clients' business needs. You will work closely with sales, engineering, and service delivery teams to ensure solutions are technically sound, commercially viable, and aligned with customer expectations.

Responsibilities

Solution Design & Architecture

  • Lead the technical design of customer network solutions including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Wireless, Leased Lines and cloud connectivity.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable and secure technical architectures.
  • Create high-level and detailed design documentation, including network diagrams and service designs, to include Holiday Parks & MBU's

Pre-Sales Support

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, RFP responses, and cost models.

Service Integration & Delivery

  • Define service components and integration points for seamless delivery.
  • Work with project managers and service delivery teams to ensure successful implementation.
  • Provide technical oversight during deployment and transition phases.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through solution options and best practices.
  • Liaise with vendors and partners to incorporate third-party technologies where appropriate.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Contribute to the development of new service offerings and solution templates.
  • Assist Product in the technology assessment for new and existing services.
  • Investigate, plan and present a report for any request for commercial evaluation/qualification and costing of potential FWA/FTTP proposals.
Key Skills
  • Proven experience in network architecture, ideally within a service provider or enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of networking technologies: EDA, FTTP, FTTC, Fixed Wireless, 4 and 5G
  • Familiarity with hybrid connectivity models.
  • Experience with network monitoring, automation, and orchestration tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams.
