About the role

We are one of the top three automotive retailers in the UK, proud to represent 32 manufacturer brands and sell a wide range of new and used vehicles from over 150 dealerships. We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Service Advisor to join our Aftersales Team on site.

Contract type: Permanent, full time

Hours: 42 hours weekly (Monday to Friday 8am 6pm, with one early finish per week and Saturdays 8am 2pm on a rota basis)

Salary: OTE up to £35,000 with a base of £29,000 per annum

Responsibilities

  • Book MOTs, services and other repair work for customers.
  • Advise customers about warranty cover and upsell additional parts or accessories that will benefit them.
  • Liaise with the full Aftersales department to organise and schedule appointments based on workload and call volumes.
  • Manage a high volume of customers daily, including telephone calls and online booking queries.
  • Inform customers of turnaround times and ensure effective communication while their car is in the workshop.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update systems when bookings are made.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport easily with colleagues and customers.

• Energy, a warm personality and a real passion for delivering a first class customer experience.

• Ability to explain technical information clearly and concisely.

• Prior experience in a similar role within the automotive industry and a passion for customer service and cars.

• Experience using Kerridge or ADP is an advantage; knowledge of other dealer systems is also beneficial.
