Server and Storage Engineer

We are excited to partner with a top London University, looking for a Server and Storage Engineer to provide day-to-day hands-on delivery and support of server and storage technologies.

As a Server and Storage Engineer you will be responsible for contributing directly to roadmaps and building, delivering and supporting all end user technologies .

Job Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the strategy, roadmaps and change delivery plans for server and storage
• Liase with Backup service provider
• Prepare tooling designs and perform technology change and implementation
• Deploy servers on VMWare

Requirements:

• Proven track record using VMware vCentre
• Broad knowledge of IT solutions and business process, principles and practice
• Experience working on large scale environments
• Experience troubleshooting server issues

• Up to £52,460 base salary
• 30+ Days Annual Leave
• Hybrid working (2 days in the office/week)
• 12 Month FTC with high likelihood of 6-12 month extension
