Senior zSeries Mainframe Analyst opportunity to join a large business with sites across the UK and internationally. Permanent, full time role with a competitive salary / package on offer, remote/hybrid working available from their offices in Nottinghamshire (with flexibility to travel to sites as & when required)

The Role

The Senior zSeries Mainframe Analyst will be responsible for:

• being an SME for IBM based infrastructure & systems, acting as technical escalation
• lead on architectural & technical projects, improvements & upgrades to the IBM infrastructure
• installing, configuring and administering IBM systems & environments
• act as technical escalation for support queries (2nd-3rd line)

About you

Applicants for the Senior zSeries Mainframe Analyst role will have:

• experienced with supporting & installing IBM environments (zSeries essential)
• IBM WebSphere Application server experience & support (preferable or similar)
• Linux experience
• good communicator, ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• flexibility to travel to sites as and when required (in the UK and occasionally international)
