An industry-leading Franchised Dealership in Stoke-on-Trent is expanding its technical operations and seeking a sharp, multi-skilled Vehicle Technician to join their main workshop team. Representing a premier global vehicle manufacturer, this modern facility handles everything from scheduled maintenance to complex powertrain and electronic diagnostics. What's Included in the Package?
  • Salary Range: £35,000 - £45,000 basic per annum (DOE) + uncapped monthly efficiency bonus (An active MOT Tester licence is highly desirable and commands an increased starting pay band!)
  • Working Schedule: Monday through Friday schedule (with Saturdays on a rolling rota)

Core Responsibilities
  • Execute major mechanical projects, including engine rebuilds, gearbox replacements, timing chains, and clutch assemblies
  • Utilize brand-specific diagnostic systems to resolve complex electrical, mechanical, and network faults
  • Perform routine servicing, warranty inspections, and thorough multi-point vehicle health checks (VHC) to manufacturer standards
  • Coordinate with service advisors to ensure accurate repair notes and clear updates for customers
  • Maintain pristine bay cleanliness, tool care, and strict adherence to safety protocols
Candidate Profile
  • Technical Mastery: Proven confidence handling deep mechanical overhauls alongside complex fault isolation
  • Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ / IMI in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent time-served credential)
  • MOT Status: Valid MOT Tester accreditation is a major advantage (for a higher starting rate), but is not essential to apply
  • Mindset: Quality-driven professional with high attention to detail and pride in first-time fixes
  • Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence
