Senior Wind Noise & Acoustics Engineer

Join our client as a Contract Senior Wind Noise & Acoustics Engineer based in Liverpool, this position is ideal for experienced professionals in automotive NVH and acoustics.

The successful candidate will oversee wind noise performance on current vehicle lines, acting as the voice of the customer within the plant. Your responsibilities include detecting attribute variation through objective and subjective assessments, conducting root cause investigations, and driving solutions to resolution. Collaboration with the aeroacoustics team will ensure seamless integration of future product development and ongoing quality improvement.

Flexibility to work across sites such as Gaydon, Coventry, Solihull, and Halewood is essential. Candidates should possess hands-on experience in automotive plant quality, applying problem-solving methodologies like Six Sigma, 8D, and RCA, alongside vehicle testing, NVH measurement, and attribute assessment skills. A full driving licence and the ability to subjectively evaluate driven attributes are also required.
