Senior VAT Officer - Responsibilities

• Actively communicating with clients and tax authorities to manage VAT-related matters.
• Handling VAT returns for a diversified client base including investment funds (notably PE/RE), management companies, banks, Soparfis, and industrial/commercial firms.
• Assisting in VAT advisory projects and due diligence assignments.
• Benefiting from continuous training and mentorship from seasoned professionals to accelerate your expertise in VAT.

Senior VAT Officer - Your Profile:

• 2 to 4 years of experience in Luxembourg VAT/Indirect Tax compliance.
• A solid understanding of Luxembourgish and European VAT regulations.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing VAT returns, ideally in financial services, PE/RE, or industrial sectors.
• Strong numerical skills and analytical capabilities.
• Attention to detail and a rigorous work approach.
• A degree in Accounting, Economics, or a related field with a specialization in Taxation.
• Fluency in English; German language skills are a strong plus.
• A client-oriented mindset and confidence in handling client relationships.

Senior VAT Officer - We offer:

• A salary of up to €70,000 gross spread over 13 months.
