Senior UX Researcher

We're working with a global tech brand that's building out the next generation of payroll products - and they're looking for a Senior UX Researcher to join the team. It's a 3-month contract to start, with a solid chance to extend or even go permanent.

The basics:

• Day Rate: €350 per day
• Location: Barcelona (Hybrid - 3 days a week in the office)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Length: 3 months initially (with extension/perm potential)

What you'll be doing:

This role is all about driving meaningful research at scale, helping shape enterprise tools that millions rely on. You'll be the go-to for understanding how people interact with workplace tech - asking the right questions, surfacing the right insights, and making sure those insights actually influence product decisions.

• You'll lead end-to-end research using both qual and quant methods - from usability testing and user interviews to surveys and data analysis.
• Work closely with international product teams, bringing the user voice into every stage of the process.
• Own participant recruitment, logistics, and research planning.
• Turn insight into action - distilling data into clear recommendations that line up with business and product goals.

What we're looking for:

• Solid experience running UX research for digital products (web, mobile or software).
• Confident across a range of methods - you know when to go deep, and when to keep it light.
• Able to communicate user needs clearly through things like journey maps, personas, interviews, or behavioural data.
• You're great in distributed teams and comfortable working across different time zones.
