I'm currently representing a leading transport consultancy in their search for a Senior Transport Planner to join their London team.

This is an opportunity to join an established and highly respected transport planning team, delivering solutions for some of the UK's most complex and high-profile development and infrastructure projects.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Transport Planner, you'll take responsibility for delivering projects, managing client relationships and supporting junior members of the team.

You'll have the opportunity to work across a variety of sectors, providing strategic transport planning advice and contributing to projects that shape developments, towns and cities across the UK.

Responsibilities will include:

• Leading the delivery of Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans
• Managing transport planning projects from inception through to completion
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders
• Providing technical and strategic transport planning advice
• Supporting business development and work-winning activities
• Mentoring and supporting junior consultants
• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams

About You

You'll ideally have:

• Several years' experience within a transport planning consultancy
• Strong knowledge of transport planning and the UK planning process
• Experience delivering Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans
• Strong report-writing and communication skills
• Experience managing projects and client relationships
• A proactive and commercially aware approach
