Senior Training Engineer

Responsibilities for this Position

Location: Oakdale Ct, Oakdale, Blackwood NP12 4AD, UK

• Providing expert advice and support in the analysis, design and delivery of training solutions that meet Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) standards.
• Conduct DSAT compliant training delivery in accordance with JSP 822 and DTSM 1-4.
• Produce training packages for use by the Ministry of Defence (MOD).
• Deliver work packages as part of an integrated project team, working through the system life cycle from design to test and acceptance.
• Monitor project schedules, report metrics, and track progress effectively.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks, meeting key objectives and deliverables in a time critical manner.

Are you an experienced Trainer with a strong Defence background? We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team and support the delivery of high quality, compliant training across Defence programmes.

Qualifications

What you'll bring to the role:

• Proven Defence Training Experience

  A solid background in training within the Defence environment, with hands on experience delivering DSAT compliant training.

• Military Communications Expertise

  Experience in Military Communications is essential. Knowledge of the BCIP system is highly desirable.

• Strong Analytical & Problem Solving Skills
• Ability to perform detailed analysis, including root cause investigations and fault finding.
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Training Design & Analysis Experience
• Policy & Standards Knowledge
• Relevant Qualifications
• Collaborative & Self Sufficient

Additional Information

Salary for this position is £42,080 to £52,000, depending on experience plus our excellent flexible benefits package.

We offer hybrid working - for this role ideally we are looking for an average of 2 days per week per month working from our offices. Also some planned travel to customer sites will be required due to the nature of the role.
