Job Description

Join our team supporting young people in Norfolk

MAP is a charity providing free and independent advice, counselling, youth work and education for young people.

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37 per week

Flexible working options available: part time applications will be considered on a job-share basis or stand alone with sufficient hours for the role to be covered. If applying on a part-time or job-share basis please state the hours you require to work.

The TALK Centre is a project run by MAP and offers training, learning and resources to everyone in Norfolk and Waveney who work with children and young people.

The TALK Centre offers training, learning and resources to everyone working with children and young people in the area. We are a small team that works collaboratively to offer the best possible service. We aim to improve delivery of mental health and wellbeing support for 0 - 25-year-olds by upskilling the sector. We deliver training in person, online and through our digital platform.

This position is a Senior Trainer. The role is to deliver TALK Centre training, with a focus on continual improvement. The Senior trainer will create, coordinate and deliver training, reviews and updates. The position is involved in quality assurance and is a lead for networking within the Norfolk area.

This role would be ideal for any teacher or trainer who wants to deliver learning and to develop into management and/or development roles. It may also be suitable for professionals in the sector who would like to move into delivering training.
