Senior Traffic Engineer

Locations: Bradford, Doncaster, Huddersfield, Hull, Leeds, Sheffield, Wakefield

Type: Permanent, Contract

Salary: Dependent on experience, skills and location

• UK experience working within a Local Authority traffic engineering environment, or consultancy supporting Local Authorities.
• Confident in detailed design and implementation of traffic schemes including reviewing drawings.
• Competent in the use of TSRGD, Traffic Signs Manual, LTN 1/20 and other relevant standards and guidance documents.
• Experience in contractor liaison, including clarifications and site queries.
• Experience managing public consultations and stakeholders.
• Ability to prepare technical reports.
• Ability to prioritise workload, manage multiple schemes and work with minimal supervision.
• CAD capability beneficial but not essential.
• Experience guiding junior colleagues or providing informal support to others.
• Organisation and monitoring of costs in relation to Traffic Regulation Orders and traffic schemes.
