Carrington West are pleased to be working with a well established growing consultancy based in Rugby who are offering an excellent opportunity for a Town Planner. This role offers the chance to work across a diverse portfolio of projects, with a particular focus on commercial and rural developments.

The Role

You will be involved in a broad range of planning activities, supporting projects from initial appraisal through to submission and delivery. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals
• Providing planning advice to clients across commercial and rural projects
• Managing project timelines and liaising with stakeholders
• Supporting senior team members on complex planning schemes
• Conducting site appraisals and planning research

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Town Planning role (private or public sector considered)
• Ideally MRTPI Chartered (or working towards)
• Strong knowledge of UK planning policy and regulations
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Location and Working Style

• Based in Rugby
• Primarily office-based, with some flexibility available

• Second stage: Face-to-face meeting
