Senior Technical Lead - Cloud & Data Platform (all genders)

Our client is seeking a Senior Technical Lead in Vienna to help shape the future of digital infrastructure. The role focuses on advancing cloud infrastructure and distributed computing, contributing to the development of one of the industry's most complex and impactful products.

• Define and drive system/software architecture and design principles for complex products
• Act as Technical Project Lead, ensuring quality architecture and efficient implementation
• Conduct expert technical consultations and translate needs into scalable solutions
• Build and maintain a secure, multi-cloud environment with strong governance and compliance
• Align with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Support for smooth product delivery
• Identify AI/ML use cases and mentor teams on integration and best practices
• Recommend emerging technologies and lead proof-of-concepts to validate new approaches
• Deliver training and documentation to upskill teams and foster technical excellence
• Engage with the broader tech community through publications and events
• Advocate for flexible, secure, and cost-efficient cloud solutions across products

• Proven experience designing robust multi-cloud architectures (multi-cloud certifications preferred)
• Proficiency in Python, Databricks, Golang, Kafka, Typescript, and Apache Spark
• Deep understanding of data ingestion, processing, storage, governance, and monetization
• Passion for artificial intelligence and machine learning, with experience identifying and integrating use cases
• Ability to balance long-term technical vision with short-term execution needs
• Skilled in translating customer requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Familiarity with GDPR, SOC2, and embedding security into infrastructure design
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to align on technical goals
• Strong communication skills for engaging and collaborating with diverse stakeholders
• Experience contributing to technical blogs, whitepapers, and representing the company in industry forums

Our Client honors your dedicated contribution with a minimum salary of €70,000 gross per year according to the collective bargaining agreement. Depending on experience, the actual compensation may significantly exceed the minimum salary.
