Job Title: Senior Supply Chain Manager - Infrastructure
Location: Barrow-In-Furness; Cumbria. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: Up to £75,000 depending on experience + Executive benefits
What you'll be doing:
Integrating activities across Infrastructure supply chain teams to ensure seamless collaboration
Coordinating management information, including procurement programme plans, reports, trackers and other performance data
Developing and overseeing an integrated governance framework to align procurement categories with delivery programmes
Identifying and managing risks, opportunities, issues and liabilities within procurement and contract strategies
Leading and motivating the team to achieve objectives, fostering a high-performance culture
Promoting health, safety and wellbeing, encouraging open and transparent communication
Ensuring compliance with all internal policies and external regulatory requirements
Building and managing relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders, contributing to bid activity to meet budget and business goals
Your skills and experiences:
Proven experience in infrastructure / construction supply chains, with knowledge of industry-specific programmes and processes
Skilled in managing integrated supply chain information, teams, programmes, and communication channels
In-depth understanding of business and procurement policies, strategies, techniques, and best practices
Experience in contract and supplier performance management, including Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)
Leadership experience, guiding and developing high-performing teams
