Job Description

Salary up to £46,053 per annum, plus company van & fuel card

We are the largest provider of repairs, maintenance, and regeneration services across the UK. Mears offers tailored rapid-response and planned maintenance services through partnerships with over 70 local authorities, Arm's Length Management Organisations, and Housing Associations.

About the Role:

As a Building Maintenance Senior Supervisor, you will work alongside Havering Council within our social housing sector, supporting a stable and profitable contract, delivering excellent service through our local teams who understand the importance of working together for the community.

You will be part of a local team overseeing supervision activities in our Housing operations, ensuring all procedures are efficiently followed in compliance with company policies, providing top-tier customer service, and meeting safety, quality, and cost standards related to budget, profitability, and resource deployment.

  • Supervising Voids team
  • Supporting Supervisor and Planner to ensure smooth team operations
  • Managing subcontractors and DLO to complete works
  • Communicating with clients and attending meetings
  • Partnership working with clients

Role Criteria:

  • Good technical and operational experience
  • Experience with void or planned works within social housing
  • Repairs and maintenance experience
  • Experience with complex repairs
  • Strong organisational skills

All roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work in the UK. Mears does not currently sponsor visas.

To drive a Mears vehicle, candidates must be over 21, have held their license for over 3 months, and have less than 9 points.

All roles are subject to DBS/security checks prior to employment.
