Senior Structural Engineer, Dublin

A well-established multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm in Dublin is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer (Hybrid role)

Role:

You will be responsible for managing project delivery and quality, across a range of sectors.

• Support all aspects of small to large complex projects (Housing estates, dwellings, Duplex units etc.)
• Manage Structural requirements of projects, in accordance with client requirements and current regulations.
• Manage and coordinate project resources (weekly).
• Develop employees in accordance with HR policies.
• Manage client expectations and attend client meetings.
• Basic understanding of civil design (desirable but not necessary)
• Lead a team (2-10 employees)
• A recognised degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years structural design experience in the Irish/UK Construction sector.
• Strong analytical and technical skills.
• Experience of undertaking steel, masonry and timber and concrete design to Eurocodes, Irish Building Regulations, Codes of Practice and Technical Standards.
• Proficiency in Structural Engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla or ROBOT.
• Good understanding of project lifecycles, project flows and able to organise Resources.
• Previous management / leadership experience.
