Our client, a leading organisation in the housing sector, is on the lookout for a dynamic Senior Stock Condition Surveyor to join their dedicated Assets team in Gloucestershire. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to make a real difference while leading a passionate team.

About the Role:As the Senior Stock Condition Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating the stock condition survey programme. Your expertise will ensure high-quality data collection and analysis, directly impacting investment planning and compliance across various property types. You'll act as a mentor for one team member, manage QA processes, and contribute your technical knowledge to support asset management activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the delivery of stock condition surveys for all property types.
  • Manage and develop a team of stock condition surveyors.
  • Ensure the accuracy and quality of stock condition data and QA processes.
  • Prepare detailed work schedules, drawings, and specifications.
  • Conduct EPC assessments and ensure proper data uploads.
  • Carry out HHSRS assessments and prepare expert witness reports.
  • Provide building pathology advice and support asset management initiatives.
  • Monitor contractor compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Foster effective stakeholder relationships and deliver a customer-focused service.

What You Bring:

  • A construction-related degree or equivalent.
  • Essential qualifications: Domestic Energy Assessment, HHSRS, CDM Regulation knowledge.
  • Significant experience in building defect identification and stock condition surveying.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
