Job Description
We're on the hunt for a Senior Sous chef to join our tight knit team here at Tom Foolery in Boston Spa. Were currently implementing a brand new food offering that will constantly evolve and change, using fresh and seasonal produce and taking influences from the heritage and origins of our owner and management team.
Tom Foolery is an Independent business that is built on the passion and ideas of our team and you will have the opportunity to influence menu development and work alongside our head chef to keep our menu fresh, seasonal and the best around.
You will ideally have experience of either running or being in a senior role in a kitchen, having past experience of stock control, stock ordering and food hygiene certification is also preferable. Were looking for someone with a passion for food, a keen eye for detail and the ability to follow specs, both in preparation and presentation. The ideal candidate will also be confident enough to seamlessly run the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
We're offering a salary of between £30,000 and £33,000 Per annum 40 Hours per week contract, with cash tips. Having your own transport or living locally is highly favorable due to less than ideal public transport in the area.
