Senior Sous Chef

Beamish Hall is a stunning 4star country house hotel in the heart of North East England, set in picturesque countryside, on the borders of County Durham and Tyne & Wear.

Family owned since 2003 we are proud to provide a memorable experience to all of our customers from tasty local produce in our Stables Bar & Restaurant and Coach House Cafe to weddings and banqueting within the Hall.

As one of the North East's premier venues we are looking for friendly, trustworthy and motivated individuals to assist in the delivery of our food services within the Stables Restaurant and the Hall.

We are offering a 40 Hours / Week contract with 2 days OFF each week as we believe work life balance is a very important factor in keeping our team focused and motivated.

You will be responsible to mentoring and leading the team on a day to day basis alongside our resident Head Chef.

Daily you will be preparing, cooking and presenting food to the standards required by the company and guests. Ensuring that dishes are prepared and ready on time. Stock taking, ordering of produce and ensuring that the team are delivering dishes to the highest of standards

You will be working with fresh ingredients to a menu that changes seasonally under the guidance of the Head Chef. Our restaurants are busy and you will need stamina and skill to ensure our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Hygiene will be of major importance to you. You should be able to adhere to our strict health and safety policies and have an understanding of current food trends.

Pay: £33,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
